The man who played the sort-of-the-leader of the geeks was arrested for an altercation with his neighbor in West LA. Anthony Michael Hall, now 43, who is best-recognized for playing the stereotypical nerd in ‘Breakfast Club,’ the proverbial dweeb in ‘Sixteen Candles,’ the archetypal geek in ‘Weird Science,’ and, well, you get the idea…. Hall was taken into custody by LA police, booked, and released for the tiff with the neighbor, which allegedly involved very un-Farmer Ted behavior, including tearing up plants. Hall, who was in the Dead Zone series and also won critical nods for playing the uberest of uber-dorks, Bill Gates, in an HBO movie, has not made a statement so far.
